It’s been a hot minute since the Slovenian broadcaster RTVSLO announced their 16 national finalists, but the time has finally come, and the national selection has begun. This year saw a change in the EMA format, where all competing acts had to perform in Slovene or another minority language of the country.
There was only one semi-final, and all 16 acts performed for only 8 places in next week’s final. Four of the competing acts qualified through the public vote, while the other four were determined by a professional jury. Here are the 16 competitors:
-
Anabel – Pozitiva
-
BQL – Ptica
-
Gregor Ravnik – Zdaj je čas
-
Ina Shai – V nebo
-
Indigo – Vesna
-
KiNG FOO – Žive sanje
-
Lara Kadis – Zdaj sem tu
-
Lea Sirk – Ne, hvala!
-
ManuElla – Glas
-

-

-
Nika Zorjan – Uspavanka – Lullaby
-
Nuška Drašček – Ne zapusti me zdaj
-
